No chains over 10 inches allowed this year and I can’t by drinking all day un-tethered.
After our usual easy EL train ride to Lolla, it was a great start to the festing with no waiting in line to get in. The North entrance is always a nice secret-squirrel-ish way to go. After a little bit of morning rain, the weather was just cool enough with a sky that was just overcast enough.
There’s always something soothing about getting to Lolla earlier than you thought you could.
This through-the-trees nice-and-shady oasis is the one by the north entrance…

As we made our way south, this dude seemed disappointed in the lack of sun. He was all like “Dude. I wore this big-ass hat to shade my head from the sun and what not for nothing”. And his friend was all like “But why long sleeves and pants?”
Never too early to get started…
Even on a cloudy day, this shady strip is makes for a pleasant walk.

If this work of art falls over, the recycling guys will be tossing it in the back of their old pick-up truck within the half hour.
Get your t-shirts before they slowly and inexplicably start running out..
